Gabriel Lauer Design is a full-service custom cabinet shop located in Columbus, Ohio. Our mission is to provide the highest quality designs, carefully crafted builds, and seamless installs for both our clients and partners. That’s why we take the necessary time on every single job to truly understand the specific scope of the project, as well as the unique goals of our customers, focusing on both functionality and aesthetics to create spaces that are not only beautiful but also highly functional.

Gabriel was born in Anaheim, California, and he spent most of his formative years growing up in sunny Phoenix, Arizona. He graduated from Arizona State University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy from the esteemed School of Global Leadership and Management. After dedicating 12.5 years to a rewarding career as a Firefighter/Paramedic, ultimately retiring at the rank of Lieutenant. His passion for woodworking has evolved significantly over the years, expanding from small furniture projects into comprehensive renovations and new constructions. Gabriel truly enjoys collaborating closely with clients and crafting custom pieces that reflect their unique preferences and needs.

I am grateful for my family's support, which fuels my love for woodworking. My wife encourages me to pursue my passion and assist clients in bringing their ideas to life. We love spending time outdoors, especially at the lake, creating lasting memories and inspiration for my work. Balancing family life with custom cabinetry is fulfilling, and I cherish every moment.
